Three different class structures are catered for:

Group (up to 3 students, guitar and keyboard only) – mostly suited for beginner to intermediate students, often interactive and provides the opportunity for students to encourage and learn together;

Semi-Private (2 students) – suitable for any level, particularly intermediate to advanced.  We aim to ensure students enjoy more one-to-one teacher attention than is possible in group lessons;

Private (1 student) - suitable for any level, particularly intermediate to advanced.  Most suitable for those students needing/wanting a totally individualised learning program.

The philosophy at Lynbrook Music is simple: that everyone has the ability to enjoy and create music!  Research shows that we retain musical knowledge far more effectively than other knowledge.  For example, think back to when you were at school.  Try to remember a specific fact that a particular teacher taught you.  Hard, isn’t it.  Now try to remember a specific song that you learnt.  I’m sure you found that memory a lot easier to recall!  The fact is that ALL of us can learn to play and/or sing music!  What make is easy or hard for us is our experience of music lessons.  At Lynbrook School of Music we strive to make our lessons REF - Relevant, Engaging, and most of all Fun!  Our teachers are energetic and enthusiastic, with the goal that each and every student will love music as much as they do themselves.   Our facilities and equipment are modern and well maintained.  We believe that our school will provide you and your child with the best possible experience of music!

Each year, student achievement is celebrated at our end-of-year concert. Each and every student gets the opportunity to individually perform in front of an engaged and encouraging audience. This is an exciting opportunity for all students to work towards.

Since 2008, Lynbrook School of Music has been providing excellent and exciting instruction to our students. Our team of instructors are motivated by their love of music and the passion to transfer their knowledge and skills to others so their creativity and talent can shine.

Lynbrook School of Music was created through the need to provide additional musical tuition to students of Lynbrook Primary School, beyond that which they were experiencing in their grade music classes.  After numerous parent requests, Lynbrook School of Music commenced in March 2008 with an initial enrolment of 25 in Keyboard, Guitar and Drum lessons.  This number now exceeds 100 students including those learning Flute, Violin and Singing. We provide music lessons for all ages from Lynbrook and surrounding areas, including Hampton Park, Cranbourne, Hallam, Dandenong, Narre Warren, Lyndhurst, and Skye.

Our professional teachers provide tuition in Piano, Keyboard, Drums, Singing, Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Violin, Flute and Clarinet.
